The digital ceramic printed glass facade of the Ice Palace creates the image of an ice rink with cuts in the ice left from the ice skates.

This unique project seems as if white lines are printed on blue glass, while the project is much more complicated. In fact, the digital in-glass ceramic printing consists of 5 mm blue circles. The background colors & shades diverse from dark blue to light blue across the entire façade: around the entrances the blue is darker, while in between it is lighter. This way, the entire project is more interesting. Dip-tech technology enabled the architect to achieve such gradients easily, and the total effect is impressive.
